This 2.5-hour online workshop is an essential introduction to the nervous system. I genuinely believe this information should be taught in schools.
The state of our nervous system defines how we move through life, how it feels to be in our presence, our relationships with others, how we meet challenges, as well as our capacity to move towards our vision of the life that we dream of. Long-term, it also has a major impact on our overall health.
About
In this workshop, we will explore the basics of how our nervous system works, and how it can be impacted by early experiences and trauma.
Through feeling into the body and gentle meditation practice, you will connect with the states of safety, fight, flight and freeze responses, and start to understand their wisdom, why and when they show up in your life, and how to navigate them when they do. You will learn simple, day-to-day tools to return back to safety and regulation.
As a bonus, we will go a layer deeper and explore how authenticity, boundaries, embodied practices and connection with others can have a profound effect on your nervous system.
This workshop is based on my therapeutic experience and knowledge, and will offer you a practical, informative and supportive toolkit that you can take with you to build a more supportive, empowered and nourishing life.
Every participant will receive a short workbook to use during or after the session, as well as a lifetime recording to refresh this learning anytime. You will also receive a community discount to the second workshop in this series focused on exploring your triggers, if you wish to continue this inner work together.
