About me and my journey
My roots are in Ukraine. At the moment I call home a magical land of South Devon in the UK where I live with my rescue dog and my partner. I recently turned 34. I grew up in a small town in the south of Ukraine, blessed by the sea and the mountains, and spent a lot of my younger years outdoors. Connection to nature is really important to me, hence choosing the countryside versus a city as my home base.
My first degree was MSc in Earth Studies, although for a few years after graduating from university my career path took me into the tech / educational startup world. I also worked in a youth leadership organisation and a climate change NGO as a communications and project leader. I then went on to a different journey, starting from studying yoga and meditation in India and exploring plant medicines in Peru, which over the years led me to holding yoga, movement and meditation spaces and wellbeing retreats in London. I co-founded and run a yoga and conscious events space called Wonderful Things with my partner, whilst discovering trauma work, studying and eventually becoming a therapist.
My path and my work are rooted into my own journey of healing childhood trauma and the lack of safety growing up, connecting with my authenticity and restoring a sense of self-worth and wholeness, as well as navigating the impact of the war back home. I am happy to share more of my story in person.
I am a certified Compassionate Inquiry® practitioner, currently completing MSc in Psychology (BPS-accredited). I am also in-training as a Gestalt therapist and a Somatic Experiencing practitioner. I have completed a variety of professional trainings to complement my skillset as a therapist in recent years, including Suicide Attention, Embodied Resilience (somatic therapy / nervous system healing), Foundations of IFS, and Nonviolent Communication. As you can tell, I love learning, and navigating human experience is truly a life-long journey for me.
A part of my work is MDMA-assisted therapy, which I am happy to discuss more in a discovery call. I am trained with MAPS (Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies) and under private mentorship.
In 2025, I was confirmed to be on the autism spectrum, which meant I finally had an explanation for that ever-present feeling of relating to the world “a little bit differently”. I have since completed the Autism Affirming Therapist Accreditation, and am now more intentionally welcoming adults with autism (professionally confirmed or self-identified) to my practice.
